The idea of a cover-up in UFO circles, even one of mass proportions is not something that is new. Indeed, from the beginning of the Modern UFO era there have been allegations and accusations of a withholding of information and controlling the narratives of certain UFO events. However, it just might be the case that this apparent cover-up is itself a cover-up – a sort of double bluff that just might have worked almost to perfection for the better part of 70 years.

i strongly suspect this is true, but only part of the picture. In addition I think the modern ‘whistleblowers’ are about spooking the Chinese that the US might actually have alien craft while they know nothing about UFOs. and also to cover up that there is some sort of objectively real unexplained phenomenon behind some UFO encounters that the government/military have been completely unable to understand. This may not be aliens or ultraterrestrials but is seemingly at least semi-intelligent. They really don’t want us to know that 70 years of investigation has only resulted in the conclusion the ‘it may be intelligent – can do weird stuff with gravity’ and that’s about it.
