The Shroud of Turin is perhaps one of the most famous and well-known supposed religious relics in the world. Said to be the cloth that wrapped the body of the deceased Jesus Christ, which ultimately contain the imprint of his face and body following his crucifixion, this material has fascinated millions of people since its first recorded public airing in 1356. We will look at the possible origins of this mysterious shroud shortly. Absolutely. The shroud is of Jacque de Moley.

  • Gayle Wheat says:

There’s just too much new evidence that the Turin Shroud is the shroud of Yeshua. Scientists says they cannot reproduce the way the image was seared into the cloth. And the carbon dating was done very haphazardly. They only took one sample from a portion of the cloth that had been repaired!!! The shroud is a fine linen like used for priest’s garments.

  • Bernhard says:

This is absurd because Jacques de Molay was burned. Thats it.

    • Marcus Lowth says:

This was allegedly wrapped around him years before his execution following his arrest and interrogation in 1307.

    • Rev. MARK ANDERSON says:

BernHard (?)……Jacques de Molay was crucified….THEN BURNED……Good Gawd you are closed minded……Pffft

The dislike between Catholics and Free Masons is well known. The FM’s blame the church for the Templar destruction and the church will excommunicate a Catholic who becomes a FM. My friend, Dr Peter J Shield, was part of the 1988 team and said a repaired portion of the shroud was tested which threw the dating off and that it is of the Christ. My doubt is because Jesus was wrapped in linen which is more like towels and not a sheet.

  • Lela L Nickel says:

Thanks, I read that book years ago and have contemplated their theory ever since. Knowing what we know about how the Church co-opted all sacred sites and traditional rituals, it’s not a big leap to consider they promoted the Shroud of Turin as a “possible” a rendition of Jesus just to keep people from investigating Molay.
